International Coach Terminal

The City of Vienna's international coach terminal – a large-scale urban development combining mobility, residential, hotel, and office uses, located directly on the right bank of the Danube.

The Project

Together with the construction company Swietelsky AG, IES Immobilien won the EU-wide tender conducted by the City of Vienna in 2020/2021 for the construction of the City of Vienna's international coach terminal.

For the realisation of the project, the City of Vienna granted the developer a 99-year building lease on municipal project properties located directly on the right bank of the Danube. This building lease was transferred back to the City of Vienna in 2025.

The international coach terminal planned by IES Immobilien comprises project properties of around 25,000 m², a coach terminal for 34 coaches, a building on the quay with 200 apartments, and a 105-metre high-rise with approximately 340 hotel rooms (4-star category), 10,000 m² of office space, and premium penthouse apartments.

The project is currently under construction – completion is expected in 2029.
